Facilities for Differently Abled Students

Swami Vivekananda Institute of Management is committed to providing an inclusive environment that ensures equal access to education and administrative services for all. We have implemented the following physical and digital infrastructures to support differently-abled individuals:

• Physical Accessibility: The campus is equipped with ramps and rails at all primary entry and exit points to ensure barrier-free movement for wheelchair users.

• Vertical Mobility: Spacious, sensor-based elevators are available to provide easy access to all floors of the academic and administrative blocks.

• Restroom Facilities: Dedicated, specially designed toilets are located on various floors, featuring wider doorways, grab bars, and non-slip flooring for safety and comfort.

• Signage and Navigation: Clear tactile pathways and prominent signage are installed throughout the campus to assist individuals with visual impairments in navigating the premises independently.

• Academic Support: The institute provides human assistance (scribes for examinations) and assistive technology, including screen-reading software, to ensure an equitable learning experience.
